A 28-year-old Nigerian man, Adebayo Maoli, has been arrested and charged in Canada over allegations that he exposed himself to three women in incidents involving public transport and an elevator.
According to the Toronto Police Service (TPS), the first reported incident occurred on September 1, 2026, when Maoli allegedly exposed himself to two women aboard a southbound Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) subway train at King Station.
Police said the suspect fled after the women activated the train’s emergency security alarm.
The second incident reportedly took place on October 3 at approximately 12:10 a.m. Investigators alleged that Maoli followed a woman from a subway car at College Station onto an escalator before exposing himself to her. The woman reportedly confronted him, after which he fled.
Police later arrested Maoli and charged him with two counts of committing an indecent act and one count of sexual assault.
The TPS said investigators believe there may be additional victims and released information about the case to encourage anyone who may have experienced a similar incident to come forward.
Maoli was scheduled to appear at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre on October 9, 2026. However, details of the hearing’s outcome had not been made public at the time of the report.
The allegations have not been established as facts in court, and the case remains subject to the judicial process.
