Veteran Nollywood actor and filmmaker Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, has died at the age of 66 after battling stage-four cancer.
Hassan reportedly died on Sunday, August 23, 2026. His daughter, Kira Hassan, announced his death during an Instagram Live session.
His death came only days after his family revealed the severity of his health condition and appealed for urgent medical assistance. The revelation prompted an outpouring of concern and support from colleagues, fans and well-wishers across Nigeria.
