The Police Service Commission (PSC) has announced the release of successful candidates for the ongoing recruitment of 50,000 Police Constables into the Nigeria Police Force.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the PSC said applicants who took part in the written examination can check their status on the official recruitment portal from 12:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2026. Successful candidates will also receive notifications via email and SMS.
Selected applicants are expected to report to their assigned Police Training Institutions on dates to be announced for documentation and medical screening. The Commission warned that failure to report on time or pass the medical examination will lead to disqualification.
Candidates are required to present their training call-up slips, NIN, BVN, academic credentials, and other documents listed on the recruitment portal.
PSC Chairman, retired DIG Hashimu Salihu Argungu, described the recruitment as a call to national service and urged successful candidates to serve with integrity and dedication in protecting lives and property.
