Blessing CEO Arraigned Over Alleged Cancer Fraud

Controversial social media personality and self-styled relationship expert, Blessing CEO, has been arraigned again by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over allegations linked to fraud.

She appeared before the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos, on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, in connection with an alleged N13 million fraud involving false claims about a cancer diagnosis.

According to the EFCC, the case followed multiple petitions submitted by concerned individuals and organisations, including the Nigeria Cancer Society.

In a statement shared on its official Instagram page, the anti-graft agency disclosed that it filed a fresh six-count charge against Blessing CEO, accusing her of obtaining money under false pretences and retaining proceeds allegedly linked to the act.

The commission alleged that members of the public made donations after she reportedly claimed online that she was battling Stage 4 breast cancer.

However, investigators later discovered that documents allegedly presented to support the claim may have been falsified, raising questions about the authenticity of her medical condition.

The latest court appearance comes less than a day after Blessing CEO was separately arraigned over an alleged N69.1 million tenancy fraud case.
