The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested popular Lagos socialite Mike Eze Nwalie Nwogu, better known as Pretty Mike, along with over 100 others during a raid on his nightclub in Victoria Island, Lagos.
According to a statement by NDLEA spokesperson Femi Babafemi, operatives stormed Proxy Nightclub, located on Akin Adesola Street, in the early hours of Sunday, October 26, 2025, after receiving credible intelligence about an alleged drug-related party taking place at the venue.
Babafemi explained that NDLEA officers, who had been monitoring the event since late Saturday night, moved in around 3 a.m. to disrupt the gathering.
During the operation, several cartons of suspected illicit substances, including Loud (a potent strain of cannabis) and nitrous oxide (commonly known as laughing gas), were recovered from the premises.
Among those apprehended was Tuoyo, a former Big Brother Naija housemate. All suspects, including Pretty Mike, were taken into custody for screening and further investigation.
The NDLEA stated that the operation is part of its ongoing effort to combat the use and distribution of narcotics within Lagos nightlife establishments.
