Court Orders Asset Disclosure in Alleged $2.1 Million Land Fraud Case

A court has ordered the disclosure of assets following an application by counsel representing the claimants in an alleged $2.1 million land fraud case involving Jordan.

The suit, marked CV/008/2026, was filed by Safwan Garba GY and GY Global Oil and Gas Nigeria Limited against Jordan.

According to the claimants, they met Jordan in London and developed a friendship before meeting again in Abuja about three months later. They said they subsequently approached him for assistance in facilitating the acquisition of land in the Federal Capital Territory.

The claimants alleged that Jordan agreed to facilitate the acquisition of 30 hectares of land in Katampe and another 30 hectares in Guzape.

They further alleged that Jordan requested a $2.1 million facilitation fee, claiming that $2 million was intended for his father, the FCT Minister, while the remaining $100,000 was his personal fee.

The claimants said the money was delivered on September 26, 2025, in the presence of Adamu Sani, Aliyu Sarki and Sai Wani, while Jordan was reportedly accompanied by a person identified as Onor Sandy.

The matter has been adjourned until December 1, 2026, for continuation of the trial.
