The sexual offence case involving Nigerian dancer and entertainer Iweh Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, remains active in the United Kingdom, with the entertainer expected to appear in court on September 15, 2026.
The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) confirmed that Odinaka is still scheduled to appear before Snaresbrook Crown Court for a Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing (PTPH).
The CPS Press Office confirmed on Saturday that the case remains ongoing, stating: “This case is still live, and Odinaka is still set to appear for a PTPH at Snaresbrook Crown Court on 15 September 2026.”
The clarification comes amid reports and rumours suggesting that the dancer may have been released.
However, the latest confirmation from UK prosecutors indicates that the case has not been discontinued and that the September 15 court hearing remains scheduled.
A Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing (PTPH) is a pre-trial proceeding during which the court considers issues such as the defendant’s plea, case management and preparations for a possible trial.
Poco Lee, whose real name is Iweh Odinaka, is a prominent Nigerian dancer and entertainer known for his work in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
With the case still listed as active, attention is now focused on the September 15 hearing at Snaresbrook Crown Court.
