ali Is A Fool’ – EFCC Reacts To Popular Song Seemingly Glorifying Fraud

The Economic Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has reacted to the popular Nigerian song entitled Ali by budding singer, Steven Adeoye.

The track that went viral on the popular video-sharing app, TikTok contains lyrics that depict the life of fraud and Nigerians somehow seem to resonate with the sound and lyrics.

In a bid to be satirical, the anti-graft agency has taken to social media to throw a remix of the song that serves as a caveat to young folks who indulge in ‘Yahoo’, a Nigerian gland for financial crimes.

Taking to Twitter, EFCC wrote:

Ali no wan finish School
Ali wan flex and feel Cool
He dey use Laptop as Tool
To dupe person from Liverpool
Now Ali dey run from Interpol
Ali no wise, Ali na Fool

Nigerians, in reaction, swiftly clamped down on EFCC for overlooking piliticians who, according to them, commit greater evils than the young popular who fleece foreigners of their money
