Real Madrid striker, Karim Benzema has set an incredible record with Chelsea in the first leg of the UEFA champions league quater-final tie, on Wednesday evening, Newspremises reports.

Carlo Ancelotti’s men set up a date with the Blues in the last eight of this season’s Champions League after seeing off Paris Saint-Germain in the Round of 16.

Benzema, 34, single handlely won the match for Real Madrid after scoring an hat-trick against Chelsea.
The striker has now become the very first player ever to score a European hat-trick against Chelsea, with the Frenchman scoring his three goals after just 46 minutes of the game.
The 34-year-old has scored two hat-trick in his last three champions league’s appearances.
Efforts by the home side to stage a comeback proved futile as Kai Harvetz lone goal was not enough for the Blues to get a home draw.
However, Real Madrid held firm to their lead to win 3-1over the Blues.
Ancelotti’s men will now head back home with the advantage ahead of the second leg of the tie to be played at Santiago Bernabeu.
They will be desperate to finish off the tie at home for a chance to reach the semis.
