Nigeria Crashes Out Of U-20 Women’s World Cup After 0-2 Loss To Holland

Nigeria’s Falconets have crashed out of the U-20 Women’s World Cup after losing 0-2 to the Netherlands in the Quarter Finals.

Nigeria was denied an opportunity to have a consolation goal in the last minutes to the end of the game after the VAR ruled out a potential penalty.

The Nigerian girls were all hungry for goal but were unlucky, as all efforts to break through the Netherland’s defence was met with resistance courtesy of the brilliant goalkeeping skills of their opponent’s goalie, Lisan Alfra.

Zera Hulswit got the first goal for Netherlands 11 minutes into the first half. The second arrived 33 minutes to the end of the first half after a brilliant kick by Ziva Caroline.
