Toochi Ikpozu , the bride took to the platform to share photos from her traditional wedding ceremony on facebook, but instead of receiving congratulatory messages, she got more than what she bargained for, with many attacking her makeup.The bride also wrote on how her beautiful romantic story started like a play and how she later became discouraged.
Despite all of the discouragement, she and her handsome groom overcame all, and had a successful traditional marriage.
She shared photos of her traditional wedding but people mocked her choice of outfits, cake, ceremony and all. Some wondered what part of Igbo culture expects the couple to sit on a mat on their traditional wedding day, some even went as far as saying the bride’s makeup must have been done by the groom’s ex.
